It’s a short five-minute walk to the ring road, for catching buses and tempos, and taxis park just nearby at the chowk. Many restaurants, coffee shops, and cafes, providing both a taste of local cuisine and international food, are within easy walking distance, as are several well equipped grocery stores. Bhanimandal is a quiet, safe, residential area. Jawalakhel is an easy fifteen-minute walk, offering many shopping choices, a little further is the colourful shopping experience of Mangal bazaar, and historic Patan Durbar Square.
